Frank's room

Doug paints the walls of his living room chocolate brown with a white grid. The furniture is slipcovered in brown and ivory denim. White wainscoting is added and a white facade is created for the brick fireplace.

Doug is given strict instructions to not paint the fireplace. While pouting, Ty comes up with the idea of creating a white facade for the fireplace. Doug exclaims, "This may be my shining moment".

When the reveal occurs, the male homeowner retorts "I see a lot of firewood." The female homeowner leaves in tears but her microphone is still on.

Frank creates a new mantel for his living room and hangs new shelves. He makes fireplace screens with folk art characters and makes a window valance out of place mats and clothesspins.
