Doug paints a living room yellow and uses Venetian plaster to make black and yellow blocks on the wall. He upholsters the furniture in zebra-print and suspends a tabletop from the ceiling for the dining room.

Hildi's room

Doug wants to paint a black border on the hardwood. His homeowners veto the idea.

Hildi paints her bedroom cream and draws grass on her walls. Grass planter boxes are added and a new wood bed is created.

After drawing the grass, Hildi and her homeowners spray hairspray on the walls to seal the chalk.
