Vern's room
Vern's kitchen becomes an oasis when he paints the
walls pale blue, installs a planter of wheat grass,
lays parquet flooring, and applies a stained-glass effect
to the cabinet doors.
Vern tastes the wheat grass. He hates it and spits
it out. Alex makes a wheat grass smoothie and also hates
it.
